KCP Students Learn About LINE App at NHN Corp.
On July 18, KCP students visited NHN Corporation, developer of the LINE mobile application. With this app, you can send messages and images for free and also make free calls. The number of LINE users is rapidly increasing– by July 21, it had reached 2,000,000.
On the 11th floor of Hikarie, right before we visited the company.
The students visited its office, in 27F Hikarie Building, right next to Shibuya Station. They heard a lecture about NHN Japan corporation, and about how the LINE game was created, directly from the game designer. Students were excited to talk to a person who actually develops games that they were playing.
With the company PR manager and game project designer.
They also went on a company tour. The view from the office was fantastic, and the facility was amazing. They have a cozy café and a rest area where the staff can nap.
In a conference room. Look at that view!

One of the KCP students showed her artwork to company staff. They showed interest in hiring her when she finishes her schooling.
